I’m fairly new to the skincare game. However, two years ago, shortly after I delivered my son, I began to notice puffy eyes and fine lines and wrinkles that hadn’t previously existed. My skin began to look dull, as I was obviously losing sleep. Thus began my search for quality, affordable skincare. I have sensitive skin, so I have to be very careful about what I apply. This journey has consisted of a lot of research and trial and error. If you are trying to transition into anti-aging skincare, I would love to save you some time and effort. I’ve compiled my top ten favorite skincare recommendations for you today. For reference, I’m twenty-seven and have sensitive, combination skin. My skincare preferences are anti-aging, brightening products.

1. Olay Masks Pore Detox Black Charcoal Clay Stick
If you’re looking for a high quality, affordable charcoal mask, this is it! The Olay charcoal clay stick brings a new twist to charcoal face masks. In lieu of the typically painful and difficult to remove charcoal mask, Olay has created a soothing clay mask alternative. This product smells incredible and works exceptionally well at detoxing pores. It slides on easily, tightens your skin, and is washed off quickly with a warm rag. No scrubbing necessary. I recommend using this product, at most, once a week and moisturizing immediately afterward.
2. e.l.f. Hydrogel Under Eye Masks
This product is my absolute favorite for relieving tired, puffy eyes. e.l.f. under eye masks are hydrating, cooling, and relaxing. Better yet, the results are immediate. This product is perfect for pampering or alleviating puffiness after a fitful night of sleep before a big day.
3. Bliss Makeup Remover Wipes
Bliss makeup remover wipes are one of my favorite skincare products. I use them daily and love that they are easy to throw in a bag for quick trips or vacations. Most wipes irritate my sensitive skin and don’t successfully remove all of my makeup. However, Bliss products are made especially for sensitive skin. These wipes are soothing, gentle, and remove all of my makeup easily. This is the first step in my nightly skincare process.
4. Bliss Rose Gold Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
After removing my makeup with Bliss makeup remover wipes, I apply this cleanser. It has a nice calming scent and a beautiful rose gold shade.
5. Bliss Rose Gold Toner for Sensitive Skin
After cleansing, I spray my Bliss rose gold toner. It’s refreshing and smells equally as good. I love that Bliss products are made especially for skin like mine and that they don’t irritate my skin or break it out.
6. Pixi Vitamin-C Serum
Next, I use one of my all time favorite products. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Pixi vitamin-c serum is an absolute game changer; and if nothing else, I hope that you purchase this product today. This serum eliminated sun spots and the fine lines and wrinkles that I gained following pregnancy and motherhood. It clears up pimples and brightens skin. I have been asked what highlighter I’m wearing when I have fresh, bare skin because of the brightness this serum has achieved.
7. Olay Regenerist Whip Moisturizer with SPF 25
About two minutes after applying my vitamin-c serum, I apply Olay Regenerist Whip Moisturizer. This is one of my favorite anti-aging products. It has a nice scent, feels very nourishing, and includes SPF 25. It’s perfect for both night and day. While many moisturizers feel heavy and sticky, Olay feels light and airy. It’s a top rated, affordable drugstore find and one of my highest skincare recommendations.
8. Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Gel
Immediately following the application of my moisturizer, I use Olay’s deep hydrating eye gel. It’s great for treating wrinkles and has a nice cooling sensation. It also works well at alleviating morning puffiness.
Lastly, each night, I apply Aquaphor to my lips. I love this product, because it can be used to treat so many things. My lips tend to dry out and peel easily, so traditional chapsticks don’t help much. In fact, they seem to irritate my lips more. Aquaphor is deeply hydrating and works well to eliminate cracked lips.
10. Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Sweet Violet
In the mornings, I like to use Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm. It’s one of the only lip balms that I like, since most dry out my lips over time. Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm is smooth, hydrating, and comes in several beautiful shades. I personally love the shade Sweet Violet.
