It’s so good to get together with friends and discuss Scripture. What are you reading right now? ✨

Outfit deets are linked in LTK with the exception of my graphic tee which is, of course, from my favorite T-shirt shop, @parishink ✨
Who doesn’t love an affordable drugstore beauty Who doesn’t love an affordable drugstore beauty find?! I’m linking all of mine here that I’m using today, from the makeup and hair styling products to the skincare.✨

Lately, I’ve been a big fan of using shadow under my eyes as a liner with a darker nude lip color. I loved this look, and I love how clean and how full #livingproof makes my hair. And I, of course, had to link this adorable tie-dye dress for you, because I’m just not over this trend yet.🤷🏼‍♀️

For a little Instagram versus reality, swipe all the way over to see “Doctor Ry”, who thinks that being a doctor means cutting mommy’s hair. 🙃 Send help 😂

2021 Word: ✨Content✨ My prayer for 2021 is t 2021 Word:
✨Content✨

My prayer for 2021 is that I would continue to grow in contentment. God really used this past year, mixed with great joy and great loss, to teach me about contentment, despite circumstances. Our joy and our hope don’t rest in this life or in our current situation. Our joy and our hope don’t rest in 2021 being “the best year yet.” The joys of this life are fleeting and uncertain. The only constant is Christ. If this year has trials in store, we can grieve but remain content, knowing that our hope is in Jesus and not in this life. If this year is full of joy and success, we can remind ourselves to not “take the bait” (as my pastor would say) and start hoping in those things that can quickly fall away. This life may have a mixture of joy and grief and trials and victories, but we look to the One who is worthy of our trust and our hope, regardless of those circumstances.✨

2021 Verses:
“Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:11-13‬ ‭ESV‬‬ 🖤

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ 🖤

Sadly, I finally took down my Christmas decor afte Sadly, I finally took down my Christmas decor after taking this picture. Yes, I know it’s January, but I can’t help myself 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ I could look at cozy, winter decor all year long, but I guess that would take away from some of the wonder of taking it back out in November. 🎄

For all my sale-loving ladies, my Old Navy tunic is back on sale today (30% off), and these Target liquid leggings are only $16. If you’re loving the Doc Marten white boots but don’t want to splurge, these boots are a great option. I found these through my girl @meaganfetchhappen , and they did not disappoint 🖤

As always, you can find my outfit details by following me in the @liketoknow.it app or by just clicking the link in my bio.✨

Happy New Year, friends!
